The Manitoba Selects, in partnership with Showcase Sports Agency, proudly stands as North America's premier youth football team, offering a prestigious program for aspiring athletes. As the reigning North American Youth Champions, we combine elite training led by Winnipeg Blue Bomber alumni with top-tier developmental and competitive opportunities. Athletes selected for this program demonstrate exceptional skill, drive, and leadership—qualities that set them on a path to college recruitment, sponsorship deals, and professional football careers.
Joining the Manitoba Selects means more than just playing football; it's an invitation into an exclusive network of top athletes. With the support of sports agent Kito Poblah, CEO of The Showcase Sports Agency, athletes gain access to mentorship programs, NIL courses, and fundraising partnerships with NFL Flag and local businesses to cover travel costs and expand their athletic careers. Whether refining your skills or preparing for recruitment, this program opens doors to new opportunities, helping you build both your legacy and future.
AGE CATEGORIES & REGISTRATION (2025-2026)
For Athletes Ages 7-12 (Developmental) & High School (Competitive) 13 & Up
The Manitoba Selects open the season with free October training sessions to help athletes get started, meet the coaching staff, and experience the Selects program. These sessions focus on fundamentals, movement, and confidence-building drills, welcoming new players while preparing returning athletes for the full winter program.

The Skills Development Program is the foundation of the Manitoba Selects program, designed to help young athletes master the fundamentals of tackle football. Training focuses on speed, tackling, footwork, agility, strength, and game IQ, helping athletes prepare for higher levels of play.
Athletes train weekly from November through January in a professional, competitive environment built on discipline, mentorship, and growth. This is where Manitoba’s next generation of football talent is developed.
The Grand Forks Showcase gives athletes the opportunity to compete in American football at a Division I NCAA stadium. Players represent Manitoba in an unforgettable weekend of full-contact competition, team bonding, and exposure to U.S.-style gameplay. This trip is optional and open to all athletes enrolled in the Skills Development Program.
The experience includes the tournament entry fee, team jersey, program T-shirt and shorts, team meals and outings, and a professional highlight film capturing the action.
The Battle of the Prairies is open to all athletes under 12, giving young players the chance to develop their skills, gain confidence, and represent Manitoba on a national stage. For high school athletes, this event is invite-only, reserved for top performers who have earned their spot through effort, growth, and leadership during the Winter Program.
Selection is based on performance, leadership, and commitment during the Skills Development phase and regular season play. Those chosen will receive a Red Letter invitation to represent Manitoba at this elite event.
The experience includes the tournament entry fee, coaching, media coverage, team coordination, jerseys, and competition apparel. Hotel, meals, and travel are not included. Additional team fundraising will help cover these costs.

The Base Training Program costs $298 and includes weekly outdoor and indoor training, Christmas break turf sessions, a program T-shirt, mentorship, and player evaluations.
The Optional Grand Forks Showcase Weekend is $350 and includes the tournament entry fee, team jersey, team outings (Splashers Waterpark), and memorable professional pictures. Hotel, travel, and meals are not included.
The (Invite Only) Battle of the Prairies is $350 and includes the tournament entry fee, uniforms, coaching, and team coordination. Hotel, travel, and meals are not included.
Each athlete receives access to our fundraising and sponsorship system, which includes a personalized sponsorship letter and guidance from our fundraising coordinators. Last season, over 50% of families covered their full program cost through fundraising and local business support.
Athletes receive up to four months of training, indoor turf access, optional tournament opportunities, and custom team apparel — all designed to help them train, compete, and grow in a professional, supportive environment.

Our coaching staff consists of experienced coaching and player alumni from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers paired with high-performance Coaches, providing expert guidance and mentorship. The Manitoba Selects training philosophy focuses on the holistic development of each athlete, balancing athletic performance and perseverance with personal growth. We are committed to helping our athletes reach their potential and pursue collegiate football opportunities.
To ensure all athletes have the chance to participate, we offer fundraising support to cover program and travel fees. Early registration allows athletes to engage in a structured sponsorship program, raising funds through family, friends, and local businesses. Our mentorship team works closely with athletes to create successful campaigns.

-Initial Payment: $298 + 5% tax (total: $312.9) is due at registration.
- Grand Forks Payment: $350 + 5% tax (total: $367.5) is due by November 5th.
-Saskatchewan Payment: $350 + 5% tax (total: $367.5) is due by December 7th.
If you choose not to participate in fundraising, full payment for trips is required before travel.
