2024/25 Manitoba Selects Travel Schedule

The Manitoba Selects: Your Gateway to North America’s Biggest Football Stages

 

Tournaments and Showcases

Trip 1: December 26-27, 2024 – North American Showcase

Location: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota

This premier MPFL showcase focuses on advancing football IQ and athletic development. Athletes will:

  • Compete against American teams in high-stakes games
  • Rotate through different positions to broaden their skills
  • Showcase their talents to scouts

Trip 2: January 9-12, 2025 - Battle of the Prairies, Moose Jaw, SK

Location: Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan

In this high-level regional tournament, the Manitoba Selects face top teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan to prove they’re the best.

Each team plays a minimum of two preliminary games per age category, with top performers advancing to the playoffs.

Key details:

  • Jerseys are provided.
  • All athletes will see game time, with performance determining extended playtime.

Trip 3: February 14-23, 2025 - Sunshine State Miami & Haines City Tourney Orlando, FL

Location: Miami  14-16th & Orlando, Florida 17-23rd

This prestigious tournament features:

  • A minimum of four preliminary games
  • Field time based on performance
  • Scouts in attendance, offering significant exposure

Athletes will compete and grow in sunny Florida, gaining recognition in one of the most respected football regions. Game jerseys are provided, and the experience will be unforgettable.

Trip 4: High School Showcase,  2025 - Edmonton, Alberta

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

This event highlights Canada’s top high school football players, offering direct exposure to NCAA and CFL scouts. Athletes will:

  • Participate in a combine-style format
  • Compete in gameplay evaluated by experienced coaches

Special features:

  • In partnership with CFL veterans Keon Raymond and Odell Willis
  • Opens pathways for scholarships and future opportunities

For those dreaming of NCAA or CFL football, this showcase is a pivotal step forward.

Trip Costs

  • Each trip costs $350 (travel not included). Miami and Orlando are separate tournaments.
  • Athletes can opt for team travel via chaperoned bus (discounted rates available) or travel independently with their families.

Mandatory Practice Participation

Travel is not required to attend practices, ensuring athletes can train and develop locally.
