Tournaments and Showcases
Trip 1: December 27, 2024 - North American Showcase, Minneapolis, Minnesota US Bank Stadium
This exciting MPFL showcase focuses on athletic development and football IQ. It’s the perfect opportunity for Manitoba athletes to battle it out with American football players, develop new skills, and gain valuable experience. Over three days, athletes will be grouped into teams, try different positions, and showcase their talents in high-stakes games. The exposure alone can be life-changing, and every athlete will leave with a commemorative ring, a game jersey, and a swag bag to mark their participation.
Trip 2: January 9-12, 2025 - Battle of the Prairies, Moose Jaw, SK
The Battle of the Prairies is where Manitoba Selects get a chance to prove they’re the best in the region. Competing against top teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan, this high-level tournament is designed for athletes who are ready to play to win. Every athlete will see the field, but playtime is determined by their performance and impact. With a minimum of two preliminary games per age category, teams battle their way to the playoffs. It’s a high-pressure environment where top athletes get to show scouts what they’re made of. Jerseys are provided, and the competition is fierce!
Trip 3: February 16-18, 2025 - Sunshine State Miami & Orlando, FL
Take your game to the next level in sunny Florida! This highly competitive tournament offers exposure to four preliminary games that will push athletes to their limits. With scouts in attendance, it’s a prime chance to showcase your skills in one of the most coveted football regions. Athletes will play to win, with their time on the field determined by their performance. Compete, grow, and take advantage of the chance to gain recognition. Game jerseys are provided, and the Sunshine State Showcase promises to be an unforgettable experience in both Miami and Orlando.
Trip 4: High School Showcase, April 2025 - Edmonton, Alberta
This showcase is designed to spotlight Canada’s best high school football players, offering them direct exposure to NCAA and CFL scouts. Athletes will compete in a high-level combine format, with game play evaluated by top-tier coaches. In partnership with CFL veterans Keon Raymond and Odell Willis, this event connects Canadian athletes with the world of U.S. football, opening doors for scholarships and future opportunities. Whether you dream of playing in the NCAA or the CFL, this showcase is a chance to get noticed and take your football career to new heights.
Trip Costs: Each trip requires an additional fee of $350 (travel not included). Athletes have the option to travel with the team on our chaperoned bus (with discounted fees depending on the trip) or travel separately with their families.
Practice Participation: Travel is not required to attend practices.
