A FULL YEAR OF DEVELOPMENT
Fall. Winter. Spring. Train. Compete. Get Better
Manitoba Selects is a full-year travel development program for American tackle football players looking for more: more reps, more competition, more exposure.
Fall builds the foundation. Winter brings competition in Moose Jaw and a full season of free weekly training for committed families. Spring opens the door to more tournaments and showcases.
As the CFL continues adjusting its rules closer to the American game, Manitoba Selects is preparing athletes for that shift, developing players who are ready for football as it's actually played, and where it's heading.
THE MANITOBA SELECTS PRO EXPERIENCE
Manitoba Selects provides athletes with opportunities to grow both on and off the field.
Throughout the program, players participate in:
- Structured team training and development
- Interprovincial tournament competition
- Free weekly speed and agility training, January to March
- Travel experiences that expose athletes to new football environments
This experience helps athletes develop confidence, teamwork, leadership, and resilience while competing against programs outside of Manitoba.
AGE CATEGORIES & REGISTRATION
The Manitoba Selects Post-Season Program is open to athletes in the following age divisions:
10U Atom Division: Players born after July 1st, 2016
12U Pee-Wee Division: Players born after July 1st, 2014
(High School Division offered based on demand and team interest)
High school athletes in the program also gain access to the PX Network, giving them the tools to build a recruiting profile and get in front of coaches across Canada and the U.S., support Manitoba Selects athletes haven't had access to in this way before.
Athletes come from all across Manitoba and beyond. We've welcomed players from as far as Ontario.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Athletes are required to bring their own pads. Limited equipment is available for rent upon request.
TRAINING
Sunday Practices (November-December): Football fundamentals, position development, speed and agility, team systems, and leadership. November focuses on identifying athletes and positions through positional work. December moves into team sessions and scrimmages.
Free Weekly Training (January-April): Every Tuesday night, 7:30-9:00 PM, at Sports Express. Speed, agility, and tackle fundamentals, included for full-year families (see "Free Training" below), thanks to our sponsor, Accurate HD.

Practices
First Practice: Sunday, November 1st, 2026, 2:00-6:00 PM
Every Sunday in November and December. Times and locations may shift in December as we move to team sessions, and families will receive plenty of notice.

January 7-10, 2027
Free Weekly Training
Tuesdays, 7:30-9:00 PM, January through April 2027
Schedule may change based on facility availability.
Spring
Spring tournaments are planned for April/May. Details will be announced in the new year.
High school athletes: an Edmonton showcase is planned for April, with cost and details to be announced.

PROGRAM INVESTMENT
All you have to pay is registration. Everything else, we help you fundraise.
Manitoba Selects families don't have to cover this program out of pocket. They fundraise it, and last year, 60% of our families covered their entire program cost through fundraising alone.
Full Program Cost: $1,050, in three payments
- November 1st: Registration, $350
- November 22nd: Ready to Compete Package, $350
- December 20th: Moose Jaw Tournament, $350
Registration is due November 1st, and it unlocks your access to our fundraising programs right away, so you'll have a couple of weeks to get started on the Grey Cup Fundraiser before your next payment.

Run them, and your athlete's entire program (gear, training, and competition) is covered beyond registration. No financial barrier. Just fundraise, and go compete.

FREE TRAINING FOR FULL-YEAR FAMILIES
Players who commit this fall and complete all three payments by December 20th (fundraising proceeds count) receive free weekly training at Sports Express from January through April. After Moose Jaw, we keep building: speed, agility, and tackle fundamentals, all winter long, to get your athlete ready for spring.

PARTICIPATION COMMITMENT
Because tournament entries, travel, and scheduling are secured months in advance, participation requires a full commitment once registered. Fees are non-prorated regardless of individual tournament attendance.
Families will complete:
- Participation agreement
- Credit card authorization form
- Media waiver
HOW TO PAY & GET IN TOUCH
Payments can be made by credit card, e-transfer, or through fundraising proceeds. Families register online first, then proceed through payment options from there.
